What are the directions for use?
Rinse toothbrush after using and shake off excess water. Clip the Steripod onto your toothbrush. Rinse the toothbrush again before using. Replace steripod and your toothbrush every 3 months
How do I open it?
On the back of the packaging you will find that the product has small cuts to make the cardboard easy to peel back. It has a small dip finger cut up to pull. After removing the cardboard the whole unit pod will pop out. The pod plastic container has a foil safety seal on the back. You punch the foil down and pull back the foil to remove the pod from the plastic mold. Be careful when removing the foil.
Why is my toothbrush green/yellow, why is it leaking?
When there’s too much moisture inside the Steripod, the tablet may leak non-toxic food-grade coloring. To help prevent this, please make sure you remove excess water from your toothbrush before placing in the Steripod. Please discard of the Steripod if broken or malfunctioning in any way.
Is the product toxic?
No, this product is non-toxic as long as the label is followed (do not ingest the tablet).
What is thymol?
The thymol tablet in Steripod provides a fresh clean smell.
Is Steripod safe enough to use on my 2 year old child's toothbrush?
Yes, the Steripod is safe for children's toothbrushes. Please use adult supervision. Steripod is not a toy.
If purchasing for traveling, do I still have to replace the Steripod every 3 months even though I will only use it a few times per year?
Yes, you should replace the Steripod every 3 months, as the vapors weaken over time once opened.
Can I wash the Steripod?
No. You should not submerge your Steripod in water.
What if my Steripod becomes discolored?
You should discard your Steripod if it becomes discolored.
Can I travel with Steripod?
Yes. Steripod is safe to travel with and will keep your toothbrush protected from soap, dirt, and hair in the travel bag.

No, the kids Steripod is the same size as the regular.

Yes, you can continue to use your Steripod past 3 months; however, it will not keep your toothbrush smelling clean and fresh. The vapors weaken over time.
Can I still use the Steripod if it gets submerged in water?
No, do not submerge the Steripod in water. If the Steripod is broken or malfunctioning in any way, discard immediately.
Does Steripod have a return and recycle program?
Not at this time. The tablet secured inside the Steripod is not designed to be removed or recycled. However, we understand the concern about plastic waste and will continue to explore options to support this idea.
